Common Area

The common area is the main room at The Landing and the reason most groups book it. White oak slat walls run along one side under a mounted TV, and three arched windows sit at the far end above the cafe seating. The floor is wide-plank and clear, so tables roll where you need them.

The bar runs along the back: counter, sink, espresso machine, pendant lighting, and a kegerator available for events. Groups use it as a coffee station through a morning meeting and as a real bar for an evening reception, without moving to a different room.

Two Conference Rooms

The two conference rooms open off the common area through oak French doors with transom windows above, so daylight carries through and the floor still reads as one connected space. Leave the doors open and a large group flows between all three rooms. Close them and a committee gets a quiet room without leaving the building.

Each room holds modular tables with rolling chairs and a wall-mounted monitor. The tables reconfigure the same way the common area does, so a room can run as a small boardroom, a classroom, or a theater setup depending on the session. They work for breakout groups, interview panels, a hybrid call running alongside a larger meeting, or a quiet place for a speaker to prep.

Getting to The Landing

The Landing is at 269 West Front Street in downtown Missoula, a block from the Clark Fork and next to Caras Park. The Caras Park lot is the most convenient parking for guests, and Front Street is an easy walk from most of downtown, which matters when half your attendees are already working within a few blocks.

If your group is coming from out of town, The Landing is a short drive from Missoula Montana Airport and walking distance from downtown hotels and restaurants, so you can put a training here and let people find lunch on their own.
